How to Configure SHARP MX-M453U Scan to Email

Open browser and login with machine IP.

     1.    Set Mail Subject Name:

Click Application Settings => Network Scanner Settings => Administration Settings 

=> Click Submit (U)

     2.    Sender Name:

Click System Settings  => Image Send Settings => Scan Settings

 => Click Submit (U)
3.    DNS Settings & SMTP Settings: 
Click Network Settings  =>


=> Click Submit (O) => Execute (J) => Submit (M)

*   For SMTP Settings: If they provide you Mail Server IP & one Mail Address then you can change SMTP Settings (Primary Server, Reply E-Mail Address & User Name).   See Picture-3.

*  For DNS Settings: Go to Run =>  cmd =>  ipconfig/all =>

 

Finally Need Reboot.

For Gmail

Create a new Gmail address (say abcd@gmail.com, PW: 123456).

     * Then change DNS Settings :

Primary Server             : 8.8.8.8

Secondary Server         : 8.8.4.4 

Domain Name               :  www.gmail.com  

Then Submit(O) .

Please Tick (√)  =>  Enable SSL &  =>  SMTP Authentication .

     * SMTP Settings:

                     Primary Server           : 74.125.129.108 

Reply E-Mail Address: abcd@gmail.com 

User Name                  : abcd@gmail.com 

Change Password       : 123456

                      Then Execute (J)  =>  Submit (M).
